When people ask me if they will get what they want, oftentimes my answer is yes, with a caveat.
The reason I say yes is because if someone wants something badly enough, they will get it. I’m sure you’ve had that experience where you really want something and you make it happen. We all have. Some will say that’s not manifesting then. Call it what you will, but if you make something happen, then it is manifesting. You desired it enough so you took the actions to make it happen. That’s manifesting.
Passion is the Driving Force
When we want something badly it’s passion. Passion is an intense, driving or overmastering feeling or conviction according to the dictionary. It’s a strong liking or desire or it can be something of intense interest such as pickleball or rock music. “I’m passionate about [insert your favorite music band]” for example.
The good news is when we’re passionate about something, when we have a driving desire to obtain it, our mind generally isn’t cluttered with doubts. We don’t stop to think, “I don’t believe I can get this.” We just go for it! And that’s exactly how we can manifest it.
Doubts or limiting beliefs always stand in our way of manifesting. If we have too many of either one, chances are good that we won’t get what we want. Passion, being a strong desire to obtain something, can cancel them out if our doubts are small or infrequent.
When I see a client is very passionate about obtaining something, as a psychic I can feel they will get it because of their passion, their strong desire. They will move mountains or go the extra mile to get it. The caveat, though, is you still have to follow through. You can’t just talk about how much you want something; you have to take action. Manifesting steps, the last one being action, still need to be followed.
Some Sort of Action is Required
Sometimes people are disappointed because they think manifesting is magic. “I want it therefore I will get it.” That is true if you truly believe it and take action to obtain it. Manifesting requires work. Perhaps not hard work, but you still have to do something to get what you desire. The action may not be physical, it may be mental.
The obvious way to win the lotto is to take the physical action of buying a ticket. There’s your action. If you believe you can find a winning ticket or someone will gift it to you, great. Then the action you must take is mental – you must truly believe it. The odds may be less this way, who’s to say, but it’s still a way to win. If you believe it enough, it can happen. In theory. I have never tried it.
The same is true of meeting a partner. Generally, action is required – get on a dating site, accept blind dates, get out of the house etc. If your belief is strong enough that he/she will come to you, it could happen.
Years ago, I would get a lot of UPS deliveries for business. The UPS man was very attractive and friendly, yet married. Neighborhood gossip said he stopped to chat at all the ladies’ doors whom he delivered to. Being married is a deterrent to most people, but not all. Even if he wasn’t married the same is true – Mr. Right could literally knock on your door! It could be the UPS man!
If your belief and desire are strong enough and all the other manifesting steps and guidelines are followed, pretty much anything can happen. Passion is definitely a big factor. It’s the driving factor.
Remove Doubts and Fears
Some people have passion for someone or something with a healthy dose of fear mixed in. “I really like this guy [passion], but I’m scared to talk to him.” If you don’t talk to him or give him some sort of signal, chances are good that he won’t know that you’re interested. It’s up to you to put your fear aside and make the first move, no matter how small. The move could be mental – visualizing and believing he will talk to you no matter what.
Perhaps you’re passionate about visiting a foreign country but are afraid to travel abroad. If you can’t work through your fear, then taking an internet tour is probably your best bet. You can’t visualize that into happening if you can’t let go of your fear.
Fear, like doubt, is a limiting belief. It can override your passion and prevent you from getting what you want if it’s strong enough.
I have a client who says she really wants something and constantly asks me if she will get it. My answer is always the same – your doubts, anxiety and fear cannot outweigh your desire. If they do, no, you will not get it. Or the chances are very low.
The level of doubt, anxiety and fear she has is far outweighing her desire. She’s too paralyzed to take action, too stuck in her head to overcome her fears. Therefore, she doesn’t really want it that much. In that case, I do not see her passion. So my answer to her is not what she wants to hear which is yes, you will get it. It would be a great disservice to her to get her hopes up and promise her that she will get it if I do not see the chances of it happening. She is blocking her chances with her thoughts. That’s one reason why my answer to clients is not always yes when they ask if they will get something.
You must truly desire what it is that you want. And be willing to do the work whether mental or physical. As I said, if your desire is that strong, your passion is that great, then chances are you will make it happen. Manifest it. You will put your fears and doubts aside and do what it takes. Those are the people who get a “yes” from me. Unless of course, they falter. That’s my caveat. You must stay the course.
Keep your doubts and fears low. Keep your vibration high with clear and positive thoughts and your passion intact. That is the way to manifest, to get what you want. Many people have done it and so can you!
